Odin download the latest version for Windows. Odin, most commonly referred to as Samsung Odin, is a special utility used for flashing firmware onto Samsung devices. It enables users to flash official firmware, custom ROMs, recoveries, kernels, and other files onto Samsung mobile phones and tablets. Advanced users mostly use the Odin tool in unbricking devices, custom recovery, upgrading or downgrading firmware, or rooting.

Odin works on Windows PCs and Laptops:
- Samsung USB drivers.
- A compatible firmware is usually in
.taror.tar.md5file format. - USB Data Cable type c or Micro as per requirement.

Steps to Flash Firmware Using Odin:
Prepare Your Device:
- Charge your device at least 60% battery or full charge.
- Enable Developer Options if troubleshoot or some custom operation but mostly Odin work with download mode :
- Go to Settings → About Phone → Software Information → Tap “Build Number” seven times.
- In Settings, enable OEM Unlocking (if oem is not present then connect WiFi or data and add a google account ) and USB Debugging.
Download Mode:
Power off the Samsung device and press and hold Volume Down + Home + Power (or Volume Down + Bixby + Power for newer models) until the Download Mode screen appears.Press Volume Up to confirm.
Set Up Odin:
- Download the Odin file and run Odin.exe as Administrator.
- Connect your device to the PC via USB with download mode.
- Odin should display the ID:COM field.
Firmware Files:
- For full firmware flashing you need below firmware files:
- BL: Bootloader
- AP: Main firmware file
- CP: Modem file
- CSC: Carrier/region file
- Download the Required Firmware and Extract it, Load files one by one in each section.
Configure Options:
- Ensure Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time are checked.
- Do not check Re-Partition; it bricks your device.
Start Flashing:
- Click the Start button in Odin. The process will start, and you’ll see a progress bar on your device and Odin.
Completion:
- Odin will display PASS in a green box, device rebooted.
- Sometimes the device is stuck on the logo, then reset your device by Pressing the Volume Up + Home + Power key.
